20th Annual San Carlos 5k-10k Run May 23rd-Join the SF Bay Area Fit Body Boot Camp Team

Happy Monday,

Every year San Carlos has a Hometown Days Event with a Sunday morning run sponsored by Rotary. This year will be the 20th Annual San Carlos 5k-10k Run for Scholarships. Please mark your calendars and jog or walk with the SF Bay Area Fit Body Boot Camp Group. All those who participate in the event will receive a SF Bay Area Fit Body Boot Camp Team T-Shirt. After you register, please e-mail me so we can prepare your T-Shirt for the race. Also, indicate your preferred size.

Date: Sunday, May 23rd 2010

Place: Burton Park, 1017 Cedar Street.

Time: 8:00am (Meet & Team Warm-Up led by Brien & Mike) 8:30am On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!

Cost: $25 adults pre-reg, $30 late & race day; $15 kids 17 & Under, $20 late and race day when you register by Thursday, May 20, 2010 @ 11:59 PM  REGISTER HERE

After the Race we will caravan to Hobees Restaurant for Brunch (1101 Shoreway Road

Total Body Workout

Core: 2-3 Rounds of 1 Minute

  • Partner MB Sit-Up Toss
  • Partner MB Modified Superman Push

Speed/Agility Work: 3-4 Rounds of 1 Minute
1) MB Forward/Back Pedal Pass Drill (As A Group)

Strength Work: 2-3 Rounds of 1 Minute

1) Split Squats With MB O/H Press
2) Straight Arm Pulldowns on FM
3) Sled-Pull Through Walks
4) MB Slams
5) Push Ups On Stability Ball
6) MB Good Mornings
