Fat Loss Tip #3- Growth, Reform and Change

Hey there,

Today is Day 3 of the Holiday Body Transformation Challenge and here is Fat Loss Tip #3: Growth, Reform and Change are a good thing!

Generally, when people are stuck and can’t attain their goals they have got into a routine that is faulty. The routine may have worked in the past, but for whatever the reason it is not working anymore.

We tend to get into routines because we are looking for the solutions to our problems- we want to feel secure.

Therefore, logically, if a routine provides us security we figure we must hold onto it.

Anne Morrow Linderbergh states, only in growth, reform and change, paradoxically enough, is true security found.”

Some people are driven by security and afraid to make changes because they believe that change will only bring more insecurity.

Personally, if I am not growing, reforming and changing, I am not living. I do my best not to attach to things and keep up to date in the health & wellness industry.

In the fitness world the new but old trend is muscle confusion. Are you doing the same workout session after session, week after week? Change it up if you are in a routine and your body will respond differently.

Are you following the same dietary principles that you learned from your parents, or a book/article that you read many years ago? If you are lean and healthy it may be working for you. If you are carrying some excess weight around the mid-section and you are in pain most of the week, I encourage you to change things up.

I do my best to follow the wisdom of Tony Robbins- He preaches the motto: CANI- Constant and Never Ending Improvement

Read, Listen, Ask Lots of Questions and Never Stop Learning.
