Today I have an article for you from Marguerite Boyer. She has a Blog “How To Lose Belly Fat Fast & Naturally.” Below you will see some simple tips from Marguerite, which are the some of the foundations to become fit & healthy. Interestingly enough, I often meet coaching clients that have forgot about the basic & simple tips to attain optimal fitness & health. These clients often believe they need more complex models to be fit & healthy given their years of pain. For example, I commonly hear that my clients only drink 1-2 glasses of water a day and have trouble with joint pain, constipation, muscle cramps, high cholesterol, blood pressure and fatigue. These clients that are looking for solutions for their pain often do not turn to increasing water intake, they go to the doctor and request prescription medications, take over the counter medications, seek alternative medicine for answers, etc. Quite often, the simple solutions seem too simple and are overlooked. Do you tend to make things difficult? What I have found is that we all do and so do I. Check out the article below: A lot of people are not aware of the fact that, making little changes to their lifestyle can actually bring a big difference to their physical fitness and health. Drink Plenty of Water Do you know, a human can live for up to 3 weeks without food, but it is definitely hard to survive without drinking water even for 3 days? So, it is very clear that you should drink water every day for your survival. Our body is composed of 60 to 70% of fluid, which is liable for assisting your body to let each of its system to stay in proper working condition, including all its metabolic activities. That is why, all your body functions slow down while you dehydrate. In order to avoid this, you should consume lots of water. You need to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Consume Different Types of Foods In order to save yourself from various health problems and illnesses, you should eat wide variety of foods that offer the combination of different nutrients and minerals. You should aim to eat all the available colored fruits and vegetables. Also, make sure to eat at least one apple a day, which includes pectin that cleanses your digestive system, and thus prevents any problems related to your digestive system. As well as, it is necessary to take rest of minimum 20 minutes during the day in order to reduce the dangers of stress and blood pressure. Stay Active Following the right exercise regimen is very important to maintain your health and fitness. Strength training intervals of 20-40s combined with aerobic exercise is the best form of exercise that helps to increase your metabolism, and shed the extra weight. It also keeps you energetic for a longer period. 20 minutes of exercise for a minimum 4 times a week is good. Also, you can make a few modifications to your daily routine in order to increase your metabolic rate, such as using stairs instead of lift, using a bicycle to go to nearby supermarket instead of going by car, and so on. There are various forms of exercises that you can follow according to your fitness and weight loss goals. However, it is advised to take an expert advice before starting with your workout routine. Consume More Protein Consuming more protein can help you stimulate the most important chemical in the brain called dopamine which keeps you alert. Wild tuna, and chicken salad are the best examples for this. You can opt for complex carbs like sweet potatoes and beans instead of white flour and sugar, because they offer constant energy to you. Also, simple carbs have to be avoided as they can affect you negatively on your skin by showing ageing signs.
