New Coaches in Belmont & Foster City Foster Boot Camps

B PriorityHappy Monday!

It’s getting a little crazy out there. People everywhere driving, buying, sending, celebrating, eating, drinking, rushing, stressing, traveling and gaining. Don’t forget to take care of yourself this holiday season and make yourself a priority!

Here is an excerpt from an article I wrote for Parenting on the Peninsula:

You will eventually learn that health & wellness isn’t all about the workouts, but a daily commitment to:

  • Meditation/Prayer
  • Hydration
  • High quality and frequent, low sugar food intake
  • Sleep
  • Connection with friends and family
  • Daily movement

Make yourself a priority each day and commit to the above 6 needs. If you do, I guarantee that you will feel balanced this holiday season.

We are grateful to have an awesome coaching staff at Shamp’s Boot Camps! We now have Laurie Loo coaching at Foster City Boot Camp on Tuesdays and Fridays @ 5:45 am and 8:30 am at the Studio in Belmont. Dolores Noonan is now the new coach for the 5:45 am program on Friday’s at the Studio in Belmont.

The Trail Run & Hike Group will meet next Saturday, December 14th at our new time (7:30 am) @ Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve Trail in San Carlos. We will do between 4-8 miles. You can do more or less, walk, jog or sprint 🙂

After the trail, come to the Saturday Boot Camp at the Harbor Studio @ 9 am.

Starting January 4th, there will also be a 8 am Saturday class at the Harbor location given the 9 am has been popular. Saturdays are generally a fun challenge day. We use a few of the obstacles in the Youth Obstacle Boot Camp. This will get you ready for Tough Mudder and Spartan in 2014!

Speaking of Tough Mudder and Spartan, I have been adding events to the schedule for 2014–> 2014 Team Shamp Events. Save the dates on your calendars.
