The word of the week is Identity.
Identity is the distinguishing character or personality of an individual; who a person is, or the qualities of a person or group that makes them different from others.
This Saturday in the states we celebrate Halloween. Starting at a young age, we dress up as someone we are normally not and get sugary treats from neighbors and strangers. As we get older, we still dress up but the treats generally become alcohol Many tend to love this day because it allows us to change our identity and let go.
Do we need to let go more often? I coach many people around the world who want to lose weight, body fat, and improve their health and I find the most have an identity problem.
If you want to get fit & healthy and you are struggling you need to change your identity.
What do fit and healthy people consistently do?
They are generally CONSISTENT with healthy food choices, sleep, water intake, fitness, and a positive, growth mindset.
They tend to make themselves a priority.
Fit & healthy people also tend to hang out with like-minded fit & healthy friends.
Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with.
Get clear on who you want to be and change your identity to make it happen.
