How to Get Kids to Eat Healthy

Good morning everybody! On August 23, Dr. Heidi Dulay and myself held a coaching call about “How to Get Kids to Eat Healthy”.

We are all use to eating a certain way. Living in a rushed society, we often find ourselves having to prep meals ahead of time, trying to find time, while also providing quality and nutritional meals. This can be a challenge.

Today, we focused on three main topics:

What is healthy. Being in great health, does not mean your body is necessarily healthy. Eating the right food does. Healthy is protein and fats. These make up 98% of the functional molecules in the body. Eating to provide energy, better fuel levels, and creativity, is important in child development.

How to get kids to eat healthy. Developing positive eating habits, and patterns, at a young age is advantageous in getting them eat, with a focus on nutrition, and how their body reacts. It is never too early to begin learning how to care for your body.

Where to find the time for this process. In this topic, we explore the many ways we can find the time to prep food, store, and select. Creating healthy, fun foods, can cut down on time, and allow you to prepare snacks ahead of time.

The key points in today’s coaching call will enlighten you on some ideas for the kids, with focus being on how to engage your children in the selection of food, games, planting, recipes, and textures, while providing them with a better understanding of food and nutrition.

Please listen to the audio of the call below 🙂
