The Pre-Workout Routine & The Infamous Maya Videos

I hope you had a great week. In June, I sent a few articles about the importance of self massage (aka myofascial release) and warming up before movement. I cannot stress enough, the absolute need to warm-up prior to engaging in physical activity.  Stretching is not an effective warm-up and we now know that it can actually be dangerous.

Check out this new article by TRX Head of Human Performance Chris Frankel “Warm It Up: Pre-Workout Routine.”  TRX is one of the tools we use at my Boot Camp Locations. If you have never tried the TRX, it is the latest fitness tool sweeping the world. You really do not need a gym anymore. Get yourself a TRX, a Swiss Ball and a foam roll for warming up and you are set.
