Master Morgan Newman Coaching Call – Health benefits of Kung Fu (self-defense) and Tai Chi

On June 27, 2016 I had a great interview Master Morgan Newman on the health benefits of Kung Fu (self-defense) and Tai Chi during my weekly coaching webinar series.

There are lots of great nuggets in this call. I believe the most important part of the talk was near the end when we spoke about breathing and practical things that can be done each day to achieve optimal health & wellness.

Master Morgan Newman is a 1st generation disciple of Grandmaster Richard Lee and holds the rank of 5th degree black belt in Bok-Fu-Do, a style of Chinese Kung Fu. She has been studying martial arts for the past 21 years and has been teaching professionally for the last 14 years. She is internationally recognized as a 5th degree and an International ‘A’ referee through The World Kuoshu Federation. She is the Vice President of East West Kung Fu Schools as well as the International Bok Fu Do Association. Morgan is a three-time World Champion, placing 1st in the full contact fighting division at the TWKSF World Championships held in Brazil (2003), Singapore (2006), and Germany (2009). She was chosen as a USA National Team Coach for the World Championships in Malaysia (2012), and most recently in Argentina (2015). Her passion for kung fu began at a young age and she has now dedicated her life to promoting and teaching the benefits of the system of Bok Fu Do.
