Thank YOU! (a message on hope for you)

shamp_2015_33

I want to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m in Elk Grove right now with my family and I wanted to take a moment to give YOU a heartfelt thank you…

…for being a loyal reader of my newsletter and blog, a client, and a friend.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to live my passion and serve others each and every day. I am blessed to bear witness as people change their lives for the better, and live their passions.

Last week at Menlo Church there was a great message about HOPE I want to share with you (you should see value regardless of your religion) by John Ortberg and Jimmy Mellado. Watch the video>>> HERE

In summary:

  • Your body will heal a lot faster than your soul.
  • Reflect on your obstacles and think about what can be learned from the challenge. Why could it be purposeful?
  • We need hope in a dark situation.
  • There is nothing worse than going through hard times alone.
  • In a desperate situation you only need a little bit of hope to move forward.
  • It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the magnitude of the problem but do your best to have faith.
  • Hope gives you enough energy to take that next move. More hope will then come.
  • Poverty is not having hope.
  • 400 million children live on less than $1.25 per day. When you think of this magnitude of a problem it seems hopeless, but is it?
  • God can use anybody or any open hearts or open hands to make a difference.
  • How do we get our kids to be agents of hope?
  • Our children can sponsor a child with poverty to create a spiritual discipline.
  • What’s your calling? Are you living it?
  • God can even turn living in poverty to good.
  • God loves and heals all of us.

My heart was touched by this message and my family is going to sponsor some children that could use help. If you are interested take a look at this site >Sponsor a child

I hope you have an awesome Thanksgiving, with friends, family and the people that mean the most to you.

Never lose hope!
