Word of the Week: Endurance

The word of the week is Endurance. 

Endurance is the ability to withstand hardship or adversity, especially the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity.

Endurance affects your overall health. Can you endure but remain calm? Your body and mind will age more rapidly when your mind is overwhelmed. You will age more gracefully when your mind is less stressed.

As they say in 2020…these are unprecedented times! For some these challenging times have caused tremendous hardship, for others, these same challenging times have led to new & better lives. This week we have the 2020 Presidential Election. Regardless of your political interests, hopefully, we can just make it through this insanity and be done with it. Done with the election, done with Covid, and done with 2020!

Make sure you get your workouts this week and remember that with each challenging rep you are building endurance and becoming more resilient physically, emotionally, and mentally!
