You're In Charge

While there are many things in life that you do not have direct control over, what ends up in your mouth is not one of them! You control what you eat. Instead of eating extra large portions, chose wisely and your body and waistline will thank you for it. Couple this with a regular fitness routine and you will find that reaching and maintaining your goal weight is easier than ever.Some of you may be thinking, choosing wisely is easier said than done. You are correct, it can be difficult. It is easier when you plan & prepare ahead of time. Plan your workout. Pick a time and be consistent. Don’t try to wing it and either workout in the morning or evening. Morning exercisers have proven to get better RESULTS!

Plan what you are going to eat before you get hungry. I always tell my coaching clients, “Never Go Hungry and Never Get Full.” Plan to eat by preparing food the night before. Generally, whatever I eat for dinner is what I have for lunch. Snacks are fruit, a meal replacement bar, or some lean protein and veggies, nuts, etc. Breakfast is typically a protein shake with a bunch of added nutrients. As the saying goes, “when you fail to plan, plan to fail.”
