Two things to note, the article mentions focusing on whole grains. This is a great recommendation for those that are consuming processed white flour grains, but many people not do not well on grains at all. If I eat too many grains, I instantly get abdominal distension and belly fat with time. Many see their fat reduce significantly with grain reduction and avoidance. Others see quite a difference in pain reduction and other symptoms, especially thyroid issues.

Lastly, many days my diet is about 30-50% fat from high quality animal sources (chicken, fish, beef, buffalo, lamb, butter, yogurt &  eggs) nuts, nut butters (sunflower, almond) olives, flax seeds, flax oil, coconut flakes, coconut cream, coconut milk, almond milk and more. I am under 10% body fat, my blood pressure and cholesterol are low-normal and I have a family history of heart disease.  I am clearly a protein type as Metabolic Typing states.

Number 15 is one to live by. If you don’t follow that tip, well, you can drive yourself crazy!
