Word of the Week: CREATE

The word of the week is CREATE. To create is to bring (something) into existence. The Bible provides us with a great explanation of our origins and the purpose for which we have been created.

Regardless of your religious preference, I believe that everyone has a gift (or two) and serves a purpose in this world.

What’s your purpose?

I have spent some time working on my purpose over the years and I will continue to do so. In an event I did with Tony Robbins called Date With Destiny we define our purpose and here is what I came up with…

“The purpose of my life is to be a Vessel for God, an Agent for Change and a Force for Good. To love and to play. To appreciate my blessings. To heal myself and others.”

I created this personal mission statement a number of years ago and I say it to myself often, so I remember who I am and my purpose.

This keeps me focused on creating new and better ways to heal more people in need of help. I have found that I can only help others after prioritizing my own self-care (appreciate my daily blessings and heal myself), so I am in the best space possible to heal others.
