5 Foods You Must AVOID

I have been email MIA lately. Life has been crazy ever since I got back from Tough Mudder (TM).

I want to welcome all my new clients to the community. I had a record month with about 300 new clients in my programs. Given the volume of new clients, I have postponed the 8 Week Metabolic Typing Program, so my team and I can focus our attention on our current clients.

Many have asked me about TM and I hoped to get a video of the event for you, but I am still working on it. In a nutshell, it was an amazing event and you can definitely do it with me next time!

Yes, it was a tough 8 miles climbing the Squaw Valley mountains and doing some crazy obstacles, but you can train to do this and whatever else you want to do. 90% of the Tough Mudders walked most of the event and you can even skip obstacles, not that I did that 🙂

Overall, it took most of my team 5 hours to complete the course (Total Distance = 13.55 Mi, Max elevation = 8887 Ft, Total Ascent = 6406 Ft) but there was a lot of hanging out and waiting for obstacles. My friend Tim Sheeper did the course in 2:40. He has been doing this for while 🙂

We have many free fitness events weekly around the peninsula and many more are coming, including a sailing meet-up. If you want to organize event, I can make you an organizer (no fitness experience needed). We are a community fitness group that wants to hang out with like-minded people. Even I need some friends to work out with to keep me motivated.

I have recently started running at 8 am on Sundays in San Carlos with a running group that is posted on the meet-up calendar. Whether you are jogging or walking, come on out and enjoy the beautiful trails at Edgewood Park in San Carlos.
