CSM Baseball Workout with Personal Trainer & Strength Coach Brien Shamp 9/9/10

Here we go again. Fall baseball at CSM. This is my 10th year with the team and l look forward to another successful year.

Last year, we placed 2nd in the State and won another conference title. We have now won 9th conference titles in a row. #10 in 2011. Check out the new weight room in the video. Very cool!

Fall Baseball Workout #1

Circuit 1: Perform 2 Rounds for 1 minute each (6 stations, 8 people at each) *Focus on 3B’s-Keep Belly & Bladder In & Butt Tucked as Needed


1. Split Squats (30s each side) *Keep Tuck
2. BB Fat Man Rows (30s)–> Retraction (30s)
3. Partner Lower Ab Curl *Keep Elbows on Ground
4. Back Extension with T *Squeeze Shoulder Blades
5. Side Lying Plank with Groin (30s each side) *Keep Head Back
6. Burpees *Stay Tight

Circuit 2: Perform 2 Rounds for 1 minute each (6 stations, 8 people at each)

1. Push-Up Plus *Keep Arms Straight
2. Pulley Trunk Rotations (30s each side)
3. Ball Crunches
4. Jumping Jacks *Relax Heels
5. Body Weight Box Squats *Hinge from Hips
6. Bridges with Toes Up *Shoulder Blades Off Ground
