Do You Have High Cholesterol? Do You Chase Your Tail?

Good evening,

I just saw this interesting study in the Journal of Small Animal Practice that found a link between compulsive tail-chasing in dogs and high cholesterol. Apparently there is a growing body of evidence (on humans) that high cholesterol may be a marker for behavioral problems such as panic attacks and obsessive compulsive disorder, which could be expressed by frequent tail-chasing falls in dogs. Interesting that this evidence is growing because I see it every week with our human clients. As we lower the stress of our clients through the right stress reduction programs: hypnotherapy, dietary coaching, exercise, meditation, lifestyle coaching and more, we see cholesterol lower naturally.
