Do You Need Some New Ideas For Meals? Next Food Prep Clinic on May 13th!

Happy Hump Day!

Last Wednesday my wife Chris & I completed our first Food Preparation Clinic of the series  “Healthy Lunches & Dinners.” It turned out very well for our first run.  Chris made some excellent meals and the class seemed to enjoy them given most of the food was gone. Check out the menu for the evening:

I. Appetizers

  • Mary’s Gluten Free Crackers & Raw Cheese
  • Grilled Chicken Apple Sausage & Sauerkraut

II. Healthy Meal Samples

  • Penne with Asparagus and Cherry Tomatoes (Spring) with Chicken
  • Pork-Stuffed Collard Greens

III. Dessert

  • Hemp Ice Cream

If you missed the event and you are a member of the Optimal Fitness Lifestyle Center, you can access the recipes in the Members Only Library. We do not have a date set for the next “Healthy Lunches & Dinners” clinic; however, I think we are going to shoot for a Saturday morning or Sunday instead of a weekday. It takes a while for us to prepare all the food for the event so a weekend would definitely be better for us. Would you be interested in a weekend clinic? If so, what time and day works best for you? Please comment below this article.

Here is a testimonial from one of students in the class from last week:

“I was inspired all over again. I can’t Thank You enough for introducing me to this new concept of “healthy food” when I met with you almost a year ago.  I am going to do another detox soon. I’m looking forward to trying the new recipes and rotation of foods which I need to focus on more. I also wanted to tell you I was having some hot flashes awhile ago and now it’s very rare that it happens anymore, I contribute this to the new way of eating. It was great meeting Chris and I plan on taking the Shake class too if my schedule allows. Keep up the great inspiring work and your dedication to getting people on the right track.”
