High Fructose Corn Syrup Increased a Staggering 10,673 Percent!!!

Did you know the use of high fructose corn syrup (HFC’s) in the U.S. diet increased a staggering 10,673 percent between 1970 and 2005? Part of what makes HFC’s such a dangerous sweetener is that it’s metabolized to fat in your body far more rapidly than any other sugar. This occurs because most fats are formed in your liver, and when sugar enters your liver, it is stored, burned or turned into fat. Fructose, however, bypasses this process and simply turns into fat.

Please read Dr. Mercola’s comments in this article, and maybe you’ll think twice next time about buying that can of fat, I mean soda. 🙂

Have you changed your diet lately and received benefits? How do you feel when you consume a high carbohydrate diet or sugar versus a balanced meal of proteins, fats and carbs. Please share your experience by going to the “share this” function below this BLOG.
