The word of the week is KEGEL. This week we will bring awareness to Kegel exercises.
Kegel exercise also known as pelvic floor exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor, now sometimes colloquially referred to as the “Kegel muscles”.
They were named after Dr. Kegel who discovered the exercise.
Kegel exercises can create and ignite your power. The pelvic floor is 1 of 3 bandas in yoga. Bandas are locks and the pelvic floor area is the Mula Bandaor Root Lock. When you lock this area by doing a kegel you are locking in your power/energy from flowing down and out but rather locking it in and it flowing upward.
Kegel like there is no one watching!
