Is it Really That Bad? What Do You Do When You Fall Down?

Happy Holidays!

What do you do when you fall down? Do you get back up? Will you try again?

As many of you know, I work in a profession where my #1 objective is to make people feel and look better. I absolutely love what I do and I would do it for free if I could. Given that I hear problems and negativity all day long, sometimes I catch myself being negative as well.

A friend recently sent me a video on Nick Vujicic…WOW, he is amazing!

After seeing Nick, I realize that I have so much to be grateful for and sometimes I forget. I have wonderful parents, an awesome family, great clients and so much opportunity. I also have all my limbs!

Check out the video on Nick here:

Whenever I am down, I will now think of Nick. He is my inspiration to never give up, regardless if all else seems to be failing.

Has anyone seen the kind of year that Scott Feldman, pitcher of the Texas Rangers, is having? Kind of  odd to put Scott & Nick on the same BLOG post, but Scott, like Nick, is a fighter. To prove this, see the photo on the right 🙂

Scott has had his ups & downs over the last few years, bouncing from the minors to the majors several times.  Scott changed his throwing mechanics, his nutrition, he is working  hard with his workouts and did whatever it took to be successful. Scott now has 15 wins for the seasons with only 4 losses. This year could have been the last for Scott, given he is at the end of his contract. Given his stats, I doubt it will be. Now that he has showed the world what he is capable of, there is no doubt that Scott will sign a very nice contract when the season is over.

Here is the latest on Scott and some cool photos & videos:

Have a great Labor Day Weekend and never give up.
