Personal Best

282“I am leaner and fitter than I’ve ever been.  I finished my 10K this weekend in what I consider a personal best.  I have not ever felt stronger or faster on a run.  And my time was only five minutes slower than my PR (which was set on a 6.2 10K on flat roads, instead of the 6.44 “10K” trail I ran on Saturday).  And I placed third in my age bracket.  And, double bonus, I followed it up with a 12 mile easy run today which felt real good.  I’m positive that as I continue on my fitness journey I will be in a better place because of the things I’ve learned from you – both in terms of exercise and nutrition – and I thank you.
