Word of the Week: SMILE

The word of the week is SMILE.

To smile is to form one’s features into a pleased, kind, or amused expression, typically with the corners of the mouth turned up and the front teeth exposed.

Have you noticed how often you smile or don’t smile?

Have you noticed how often you are in a happy, joyful space vs a suffering state (anger, depression, sadness, frustration, overwhelm)?

Numerous studies have confirmed that smiling is generally considered attractive to others, can elevate your mood & the mood of those around you.

Studies have even shown that just the act of smiling, whether the result of real joy or an act, can have both short- and long-term health and wellbeing benefits.

If you need to smile more, make it happen this week. They say, “fake it until you make it.” This has never been more important to your health & well-being.

SMILE…Doesn’t it feel good?

“Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.” Thich Nhat Hanh
