On August 30, 2016 and September 15, 2016 I had wonderful coaching calls with my special friend, Dr. Heidi Dulay. The topic for both was “Snack ideas for kids”.
Parents have always expressed how picky children are when it comes to food. As parents, we want to be sure that the snacks we provide contain all the right nutritional values. Children typically require at least 10 to 15 exposures to a new food before they will attempt to eat it. We can definitely be challenged as parents 🙂
However, there are a lot of options for you to work with. In this coaching call we discuss positive choices while providing creative, nutritional, and healthy options for snacks. There are some pretty snazzy ideas for snacks that incorporate the use of raw vegetables, lean meats, nuts & seeds, and of course, dairy. Finding the right snack for your child that isn’t riddled with sugar or glucose content is a breeze once your focus is on proteins, minerals, and healthy fats.
