Check out the Belt Method!

I have a lot great clients and a lot of outstanding success stories. However, I often have a problem getting clients to take their initial photo, body fat and weight measurements. It’s kinda like pulling teeth actually.

I get it. If you were happy about your physique you probably wouldn’t ask for my help, but it is very important to have a baseline, so you can assess what is working and what is not working.

There are a actually many ways to assess your current state, so we can see progress. Probably the worst and most frustrating assessment is your weight measurement. Your weight fluctuates hourly based upon exercise, hydration, what you eat, when you eat, temperature, hormones, medications,stress etc.

Photos are my favorite inexpensive assessment technique. Using a mobile app like Pic Stitch to makes it easy to see your progress. You can see various transformations here: Testimonials & Success Stories

I love to use Karlanda as an example. She only lost 10 pounds, but more importantly lost 6.3% body fat. Quite a transformation, but many would be upset by only losing 10 pounds, regardless of their transformation.

“In July I was 217 lbs. When I started here Oct 12 I was 209 lbs. Obviously most of that was diet. Since joining, I dropped as low as 188 lbs but I’ve gained back up to 193. Thing is, on Oct 12 I was *squeezing* into the belt in the first pic. I bought the second one when I was out of holes on the first, and could barely squeeze into that one, and now I’m onto the third hole of the new one. Last week I bought size 32s for the first time in 10 years.”

Take home message…
Don’t focus on your weight. Assess your progress with photos, a belt or a pair of tight pants that don’t stretch.

Who needs expensive technology? You don’t!
