10 Day Detox Apple-Coconut Smoothie

Here’s a recipe that I use quite often but I first got the idea for it when doing my 10 Day Detox.

Here’s what you need…

  • 8-12 oz. unsweetened So Delicious coconut milk
  • 2-4 cups water (optional)
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 2 tbsp. of ground flaxseeds
  • 2 tbsp. of shredded coconut
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 frozen apple (cut prior to freezing)
  • whey, hemp, pea or rice protein
  1. Place all ingredients, except protein powder in a blender
  2. Blend
  3. Then add protein powder and shake or pulse with blender for only 1-2s (longer duration blending can denature protein and give you less useable protein for your needs)
  4. Serve
