Word of the Week: ABUNDANCE

The word of the week is Abundance. Abundance means plenty, or a very large quantity of something.

An abundance mindset refers to the paradigm that there is plenty out there for everybody. Another way of looking at this phenomenon is in terms of a scarcity mentality versus an abundance mindset. Stephen Covey initially coined these terms in his best-selling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Do you tend to have more of a scarcity mentality or an abundance mindset?

When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears — Tony Robbins.

Last week the word of the week was Gratitude.

I shared a beautiful gratitude exercise by Tony Robbins to clear the mind and find solutions to stressful thoughts or unresolved situations that you can listen to here:

 Tony Robbins – Gratitude Exercise

This week my challenge is for you to do a daily reflection at some point during the day. This tends to be best at the start or the end of the day.  Ideally, find a quiet space, reflect on your previous day, think about all the things you are grateful for and journal them. Even the tiniest things like a smile from a stranger or a bird chirping should be brought to your awareness and noted.

Let me know how it goes.

Have a great week!
