Please join Brien Shamp’s Boot Camps & Friends in supporting CORA this year in our 2nd Annual Brighter Holidays Event. We will be sponsoring 60+ children aged 1-18 years old who are affected by domestic violence. You can get involved by giving gift cards, cash, or buying gifts for the children and teens. Please see below for registration information.
CORA serves survivors of domestic abuse who sometimes show up at the Safe House with nothing but the clothes on their back. You can support these families who are affected by domestic violence by providing a gift for the holidays. Much of the work done at CORA centers around helping children heal from abuse. They help families with housing support groups, advocacy, counseling, safety planning, long-term healing, parent skill-building, literacy, parent-to-child engagement, child play groups and stress management.
Donations and gifts can be delivered to Brien’s Main Harbor Location below by December 14th (Monday-Friday 8:00 am-12:00 pm or Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm-7:30 pm and Fridays 4:30 pm-6:30 pm).
Wrapping Party We will hold a wrapping party for those who wish to help wrap the donated gifts. Saturday, December 17th 10:30 am-12:00 pm at 603 Harbor Blvd., Belmont.

Holiday Gift Giving
OPTION 1
Purchase a gift card at Target or Toys R’ Us or bring in an envelope with cash with your name on the envelope. Please drop off at the 603 Harbor studio location or give to your trainer (San Carlos, SM Gynmastics, or Burlingame locations).
OPTION 2
If you would like to sponsor a gift for a child for the holiday, please click on the link below to load the shared Google spreadsheet that we are using to track the donations. Then click on the blue Request Access button and I will grant you access to the document.

Once I have granted you access to the spreadsheet, follow these instructions:
- Please enter your name in column B when you choose a child to sponsor
- Mark an X on column C when you have purchased the gift
- Mark an X on column D when you have dropped off the gift at 603 Harbor Blvd., Belmont, CA (boot camp HQ)
- Anne will mark off column E for you once the above is complete
**Please do not wrap the gift.
**Please tape a post it note on your gift with your name written clearly on it so I can check your gift in as completed
Once we give to all the kids in need from CORA, we are also partnering with the Belmont Fire Department with their toy drive for local kids in need. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys such as dolls, puzzles, board games, toy trucks/cars and action figures.
Given Christmas is right around the corner and we need to raise some gifts ASAP for 60+ kids I am going to incentivize those of you that are not one of my current coaching clients 🙂
