Boot Camp Menlo Park 2/23/12- Core Workout
Warm-Up (Stretches & Cardio (5 min)
Core Workout: Perform 3 Sets of the following exercises in a circuit for 2 min. Rest approx. 20s after each round.
1. Lower Abdominal March –Back Supported Over Ball (60s) *Crunch up *Support headà Bridges with Head on Ball- Extend leg (2-5s) (60s) *Hips up and level
2. Standing Groin on Gliders (60s) à Mountain Climber with Gliders (60s) *3 B’s
3. 3 Position Pull (Stand on Bosu for Added Instability) (60s) *Squeeze *Straight Arms àStanding March on Bosu (Hold 5s with each leg) (60s) *Eyes closed to increase difficulty
4. Sandbag/MB Kneeling Rotations (60s each direction) *Eyes straight ahead
5. TRX Overhead Back Extension (2 min) *Add another TRX as needed like a one arm row & rotate
Cool down & stretch (5-10 minutes)
