Boot Camp Menlo Park 3/10/12- Challenge Core-Cardio Workout
Warm-Up (Stretches & Review Movements Below (15 min)
Perform the following exercises for 3 rounds as fast as possible with good form. You can mix up the order as needed/desired as you choose.
- Mat/Bench Step-Ups: 20 Leading with each foot
- Lower Ab with Vertical Straight Leg Raise: 20 *Lift Pelvis *Elbows behind head if possible, otherwise put next to sides *Keep 3 B’s
- Battle Ropes: Big Egg Beaters with Squat: 20 *Perform continuous squat and time egg beater with downward phase of squat
- Swiss Ball Jack Knife: 20 *Can make harder with 1 leg
- Ankle Band Side Step-Squat Position: 20 Each Direction
- MB Wall Sit-Ups: 20 *Tongue on roof of mouth
- Jump Rope: 50 *Relax heels
- MB/SB Swiss Ball Russian Twists: 20 Each Side *Move from core *Can bend arms to make load lighter
*When complete have them jog until all are done or they can continue for 4th set. Stretch at 8:25 as a group.
Cool down & stretch (5 minutes)
