Here’s a recipe that I use quite often but I first got the idea for it when doing my 10 Day Detox.
Here’s what you need…
- 8-12 oz. unsweetened So Delicious coconut milk
- 2-4 cups water (optional)
- cinnamon to taste
- 2 tbsp. of ground flaxseeds
- 2 tbsp. of shredded coconut
- handful of spinach
- 1 frozen apple (cut prior to freezing)
- whey, hemp, pea or rice protein
- Place all ingredients, except protein powder in a blender
- Blend
- Then add protein powder and shake or pulse with blender for only 1-2s (longer duration blending can denature protein and give you less useable protein for your needs)
- Serve
