Boot Camp Redwood City 2/22/12- Fat Burning Partner Workout -TABATA Style

 
Preparation:
1. Forward Lunges 10
2. Push-Up: 5
3. Squats: 10
4. Jumps: 30s *Variety
5. Split Squat: 5 each
6. In-In-Out-Out (20 s leading with each foot)
TABATA Partner Workout: Perform each set of exercises for 20s with 10 s rest for 8 sets total. Complete 1 station for 8 sets and move to the next one
 
1. Partner Lunges with MB Handoff  *Line Up RT Shoulder To Right Shoulder *Both Partners Take One Big Step Back *Both Partners Lunge Forward & Back with Right Leg and Hand Off Ball *Switch – Switch To Left Side after 20s *4 Sets Each Side * *Arms straight to increase intensity
2. Partner Push-Up *After Each Push Up High Five Opposite Hand of Partner *Elbows In *Lock *Core Tight
3. Partner Jump Rope (Each set one of the partners picks the movement with the rope: i.e. high knees, jumping jack, side to side, one foot)
4. Partner Squat with Sandbag/MB Toss *Partner throws  sandbag/MB with squat *Catch sandbag/Mb  as you go down into squat **Stay close *Not for beginners *Get to 90 degrees wityh squat
5. Partner Band Seated Wide Rows *Add Flexion/Extension of Spine *Both will pull at the same time and add spinal extension *Stay tall
6. Partner Ladder: In-In-Out-Out (Forward & Backwards) *Each set one camper goes forward while the other goes back-switch each set
7. Partner Split Squat with Battle Rope Press *Drive rope up with split squat *Explode Up *4 Sets Each Side
