My Breakfast Most Days of the Week- Bulletproof Coffee

You need 3 key ingredients to make a version of Bulletproof Coffee:

1. Organic Coffee

2. Butter/Ghee- Get your grass-fed (Kerrygold or Straus) from Costco or any store. Ghee is a better alternative for those with severe dairy issues.

3. MCT Oil/Coconut Oil/Meat of Coconut- Purchase MCT Oil from Metagenics here >>> https://bshamp.metagenics.com/mct-oil or an organic coconut oil from whole foods. I like Dr. Bronner’s Organic Coconut Oil.

I don’t recommend the need to buy coffee or MCT oil from Dave Aspery anymore (Developer of Bulletproof Coffee). It is great but more expensive than needed.

I prefer to add a protein powder to my bulletproof to make it more of a complete meal, but I only have found one protein powder I really like from Designs for Health (DFH): https://brienshamp.com/designs-for-health/ *Use FIT10 for coupon code at DFH *My favorite is Purepaleo (Chocolate of Vanilla) *My second choice would be the Organic Pure Pea in chocolate.

The Advanced Protein Shake from Metagenics is okay but not quite the same. It makes the coffee more like a smoothie, which is fine if you are not a coffee snob 🙂

Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend for about 5-10s on a low speed. Hold the top to make sure the hot coffee doesn’t pop off the lid 🙂
