Word of the Week: BELIEVE

The word of the week is BELIEVE.

To believe is to accept as true.

How can you be sure what you believe is true?

In the health and nutrition space, your beliefs if untrue (like in all areas of life) can really harm your health. I see it daily as I work with coaching clients on their journey.

Some are still following the 1980’s recommendations that I gave up many years ago: low fat diets, milk does a body good, avoidance of egg yolks and believing egg whites are better for cholesterol and overall health.

Many also believe the more they work out (especially with cardio) will be better for weight, & fat loss and health.  Cardio is effective for MUSCLE WEIGHT LOSS and sadly, most get injured with excessive cardio 🙁

What we often really need need is to just slow down and pause life for a bit….

We are often in go-go-go mode and multi-task and are not really in the space to think critically and listen with curiosity.

Slow deep breaths in and out of the nose will reduce the overwhelming noise in your head and create the needed CALM we all crave.

Be curious and ask good questions and your beliefs may actually change if willing to change.

Most important…Do you believe in YOU?

Whatever you believe about yourself is true!

This week reflect on what you think, say and do.

Do your best to slow down even in this hectic time.

Before you speak & act, discern if your words and actions will move you in the direction you want to go in life.
