5 main components that will ensure your success

Happy Friday!

Yesterday I had my first session of the NEW Online Group Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching Program.

I discussed the 5 main components that will ensure your success:

1.    Do your best to attend the live coaching calls- If you can’t you will have access to the recording of the call on the Private Facebook page created for the group.

*If you are not in the coaching program I recommend you meet with a coach at least once a month to talk about your challenges and goals. I get coached by a spiritual director at Mercy Center and she gets me back on track whenever I get thrown off.

2.    Monday Check In- If you desire weight and fat loss, each Monday I would like you to check in by entering your body weight and body fat % into my tracking software- register with this link and review the protocol: Software It would be great to add your photo each month, so we can see progress. I will only check your profiles (measurements and photo) on this software if you tell me to, so no worries if you don’t want me to view. If you do not have access to our boot camp locations, please purchase a Omron body fat analyzer for home use.

*We really need to know your body fat %. Weight alone is not very helpful for transformation. Being aware of your weight and body fat % is the first step towards weight management or control. If you don’t know where you are right now. it will be hard to get where you want to go in the future. The software above is FREE to those not in the program. Use it to track your progress.

3.    Weekly Summary- Please send me a summary of your experience by Tuesday at mid-night so I can review prior to the Thursday session. Indicate your challenges and things that you learned or are grateful for.  A challenge could be weight gain,  lack of home support or maybe you’re in need of more snack ideas. Things you learned could be a new recipe that you love. Please provide me with your questions for the weekly session at this time also.

*I recommend daily journaling and reflection of your challenges and gratitude. If you are aware of your daily challenges you are more likely to do something about it. If you talk to someone else about your challenges you will likely create a new strategy to progress beyond them. Check out my fat loss tip #28: Be Grateful

4.    Nutrition & Lifestyle Record Sheets –  Please send me at least two per week by Tuesday at mid-night. Please note, I will not comment on all of them. This is a good awareness exercise and helps me coach you as needed. This will be located on the Facebook page file area.

*Whether or not you work with a coach, I highly recommend you write down what you eat for at least 3 days. This exercise will create an awareness of what you are eating and how you are feeling. You can use an APP with caloric functionality, but calorie counting only tells a small piece of the puzzle.

5.    Private Facebook Group Page- This will assist in building the key community support part of the program. I am going to be communicating to you through this page. You can give and receive support to the others before and after the weekly sessions here. The Thursday session of the week recording link will be here. I will also add my various nutrition strategies for FREE in the file area (Paleo Program, 5 Day Detox, 28 Day Skinny Jeans Solution, 10 Day Detox Vegetarian Model). Please do not share these programs with those not on the Private Facebook Page.

*The private Facebook page is specifically for coaching clients. This will be the central storage for all that we do.
