Hey everyone!
It has been an incredible couple of weeks. We are at the halfway point of the 28 Day Skinny Jean Solution Training Program, many new clients have come on board with our 6 week Transformation Challenge, and I have seen many of our members come back from their summer travel and fun ready to kick it up a gear.
My coaching team and I are super excited to help everyone look and feel their best by the end of the year!
Given the increase of our clients at the camps, we are starting new sessions at the Harbor Studio in Belmont on Thursdays @ 6:20 am, 9:30 am & 4:30 pm. There will also be a new session @ 4:30 pm on Tuesdays. For the live schedule, go to: Schedule
Another exciting, new project is the new Youth Fitness Camp that Coach Mike and I developed for onsite after school programs.
We will be starting programs at Cipriani and Nesbit Schools in Belmont. These are pilot programs and we hope to have more schools on board in January. Cipriani starts Tuesday, September 15th and Nesbit starts on the 29th. For more information: www.YouthObstacleBootCamp.com
In other news 🙂 Brien Shamp’s Boot Camps has partnered with Fit Body Boot Camp (FBBC).
If you have been to the Harbor Studio lately you may have already noticed some of the changes. There will be more to come in the next few weeks. We are planning on opening a new Burlingame Fit Body Boot Camp, like the Harbor Studio soon. I now own the territories from Burlingame to Redwood City.
The partnership is a good fit because we share similar exercise training philosophies:
“Our specialized Afterburn workouts use a combination of (HIIT) High Intensity Interval Training and Active Rest Training to get your body to burn more fat and calories than traditional workouts that are twice as long.”
We also share a common mission:

My mission has always been to help as many people as I could understand how exercise and lifestyle factors can change lives for the better. This is not just about weight loss, this is your life. Your fitness, dietary choices, sleep patterns, relationships and stress as a whole determines your happiness and overall quality of life.
In the last 25 years I have helped thousands of people lose hundreds of thousands of pounds of fat, reduce pain, look and feel their best, but I know I can do more.
I am tired of trying to do this on my own and want to be part of something bigger. FBBC is a company I am proud to be a partner with because they truly care about people and developing happy, healthy communities.
I have learned that community is the foundation for success. I moved away from personal training in 2010 and focused on group training. I originally changed my focus to reduce my work time and to support more people at a lower cost.
What I didn’t realize was the power of community. My results for those desiring weight and fat loss is now 10x better, they have more fun, and they have much needed social support. Interestingly enough my clients pay approximately $200 per month for the camps vs $150/session for private training.
Everyone including me needs a supportive community. Maybe if we all had more support we can reduce the rate of obesity in this country. 74% of the US population is overweight and according to The World Health Organization’s (WHO) ranking of the world’s health systems in 2000, the US ranks 37th in overall healthcare behind Costa Rica.
I look forward to making a greater impact in the next 25 years than I have in my first 25 years. Let’s make ourselves a priority, get healthy and fit and then support others on their journey.
You don’t need a certification to help another. Most just need a little more love and support. Let’s be a community that helps to change the US!
