Have you ever heard the phrase, “You can’t “out train” a bad diet?” You really can’t!
So no matter how awesome the structured training program I design for you is, it doesn’t mean much if your diet is out of whack.
And a bad diet can mean different things. It can mean eating too much, too little, eating at the wrong times or just eating the wrong foods for YOU.
We all have a preferred fuel source. Do you know what your optimal fuel source is (if you were a car you would run on a very specific type of fuel)? I am not talking about what you like. My favorite foods are pizza, waffles, sandwiches with Dutch crunch bread, pasta, hot fudge sundaes and diet coke. Diet coke is not really a food but you know what I mean right?
Who wouldn’t want to eat these fun foods if there were no consequences?
Unfortunately there are consequences; hence, the purpose of this program for the 74% of the population that is overweight and obese.
Here’s the deal, most people consume food based upon taste, convenience, what they grew up eating and what they were told was “healthy.”
“Healthy” is relative right?
A vegan says they eat “healthy” because they don’t eat animal related food sources. A vegetarian may eat a “healthy diet” comprised of eggs, fish and dairy. A body builder or athlete may eat a “healthy” source of animal protein to supposedly get them leaner, stronger and to improve recovery.

Most likely the things you enjoy the most and eat everyday are causing you the most problems.
The bottom line is if you want a smaller waist, reduced belly fat and to lose weight, you gotta tighten up your eating plan and eat right for YOU. More about this shortly.
Next, an even more important variable for fat loss and health is YOUR SLEEP. My objective for you is to get at least 7 hours sleep each night. According to my friend and sleep expert Sina Nader, “Sleep has a greater influence for weight loss, reducing belly fat and improving health than both nutrition and exercise.”

I have learned a few things in the last 25 years of helping thousands of people, lose hundreds of thousands of fat…one big one is that we tend to make things harder than they truly need to be.
Yes, exercise is important and I will provide you the best, structured metabolic workout you can get in 28 days. The 28 Day Skinny Solution was adapted from the 21 Day Purification Program from Standard Process. I chose this program because it has been a very successful and quick model to reduce toxicity, food allergies, inflammation, pain, weight, fat loss and more. This is similar to my 21 Day Detox Program without the supplements that support the program (retails at $300).
Rather than focusing on caloric reduction which most weight loss programs do, this 28 day program eliminates common food stressors (a.k.a. food elimination diet) including: nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, grains, wheat, soy, corn, sugar, most legumes (except lentils, green beans, peas) and high starch/carb foods. There is also a strong recommendation to limit fructose from fruit to no more than 15 g/day. The fructose component is a new one for me so you will be my test subjects.
You may be thinking “what am I going to eat?” Plenty! Just give it a try and eliminate the above foods for 28 days, consume the approved foods listed below, and recognize how you look and feel with your new model.
Approved Foods for the 28 Day Program (No restriction on calories):
- All the veggies you can eat, except the high sugar ones which are noted in the program
- Avocados, guacamole, coconut products
- Butter, ghee, approved oils, seeds and seed butters
- Organic/wild/pastured animal protein sources
- Lentils, quinoa, peas, green beans
- Approved protein supplements as needed
- Fermented foods (kombucha, raw apple cider vinegar, sauerkraut, etc.)
- And more….
To me this 28 day program is an experiment to figure out your preferred fuel source. Most will find that they feel 50-75% better in only 28 days by following the approved foods and even better when they start becoming more aware of other areas that need attention (plan & preparing meals, meditation, prayer, journaling, daily movement and sleep).
You can only figure out the right model for you by changing your current model if you are not where you want to be. Don’t be INSANE and do the same things over and over and expect a different result!
