Happy New Year!

I want to thank you for a fabulous 2014. Lots of good times at boot camps and at our various events over the year (tough mudder’s, Spartan races, grand opening party for the new harbor studio, pamper day at the old studio and Aly’s on Main). I look forward to having more events where we can all get together and play dress up. It’s so great to see you outside of the “gym” and showing off your hard working bodies. Don’t forget our next event is Friday, January 30th at Angelicas in Redwood City. The event is almost sold out, so if you want in let me know ASAP. See the flyer attached.

We had many phenomenal transformations in 2014. Regardless or not if you hit your goals in 2014,  I am proud of you for taking action. Remember, half the battle is showing up. If you want to achieve more than you did in 2014, continue to show up, but get hungrier.

There is one thing in common for all that are successful….they stay hungry. They are consistently working towards reaching their goals. They think about their goals when they wake up, before they go to sleep and sometimes they even dream about it. Where focus goes, energy flows, so focus on you and all you need to do to achieve your goals in 2015.

Focus on your needs and taking the time to do 5 minutes of slow deep breathing each day,  drinking at least 8 glasses of water, get at least 7 hours of sleep (9 is preferred in the winter), planning your food and choosing wisely each meal, improving your relationships that are causing you stress and doing your best to achieve 30 minutes of daily movement (just come to class and you won’t have to think).

I look forward to helping you continue to reach your goals in 2015. I have attached a 2015 Goal Sheet for you to write down your goals. You will be more likely to achieve them if you get clear on what they are and write them down. Write down your goals for the next 3 months.  I also recommend reviewing them each morning when you wake up and before you go to bed so they are always on your mind. We all tend to get distracted and my job is to get you to focus on you and what you really want. Please send me your goals if you want me to review and assist.

Also, remember the to join me each Thursday @ 11:30 am PST for our Online Group Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching Program.  Each call is recorded if you can’t listen live. This program is for those who desire more coaching for weight loss, fat loss, stress reduction, sleep improvement and an overall improvement in health & vitality. It’s free for all current monthly boot camp members. For those of you that haven’t taken part of the program, why not? Would you be interested if it was at another time? What works?

Please take a look at the new schedule 2015  attached. I cancelled two classes at the Harbor Studio effective ASAP: Thursday @ 6:30 am & 9:30 am.

Also note, new classes starting 1/6: 5:30 am with Robert Latin  & 9:30 am with Laurie Loo.

This will also be on the new website in the resource area coming soon. Generally, the worse thing one can do is to do nothing when in pain. Movement brings blood flow so heat and O2 will go to the working muscles and that will assist in healing. Emphasize daily self massage before and after workouts, after waking and before bed for best results. Ideally everyone should have a massage therapist and I rec. that everyone have a monthly session which they schedule in advance if budget permits. I really don’t think someone can do the boot camp program for long if they don’t do massage work. It’s a matter of time before something breaks.
