NEW 8:30 am Boot Camp in Belmont Starting May 6th

Happy Monday!

Please help me get the word out on the NEW 8:30 am Boot Camp Program starting May 6th at the Harbor Studio location. It will be 4 days a week. Mondays & Wednesdays will be total body workouts with Rebecca, Tuesdays will be Pilates with Donessa and Thursdays will be core- cardio with Rebecca.

Like every program at Shamp’s Boot Camps, if you attend each class for the week you will get a complete training program. Unlike other programs, there is a purpose and structure for each workout session.

Tuesdays & Thursdays are considered recovery days. My goal is for you not to go out of breath on these days, although they will still be challenging workouts.

Yes, high interval training has shown to be effective for your metabolism and fat loss; however, too much of a good thing can pose a problem. Many can’t tolerate high intensity training given the body perceives it as additional stress load to the body (the body doesn’t know the difference between your job stress, lack of sleep, too much sugar and exercise stress). Stress, regardless of source creates a stress response and we can only deal with so much.

Many fail to understand the need for rest and recovery, so I built it into the program to allow a good balance of intensity and recovery based workouts.

All is progressing with the NEW 35 Minute Express for Success Boot Camp at the Harbor Studio in Belmont. This program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:25 am -7 am.

The Trail Run & Hike Group will meet next Saturday, May 4th (7:30 am) at Waterdog Lake-intersection of Lake and Lyall in Belmont. The group will do between 3-8 miles depending on desire 🙂 All levels welcome.

Each Saturday in May, there will be a Total Body Boot Camp @ 9 am. Members can sign up here for the next class Saturday, May 4th–> Sign Up

Non-members can take the Saturday class for $15 (drop in)
